LAGR is ArtAttest’s worldwide registry that assigns each artwork and design object a unique, blockchain-based identity, serving as a reliable “common language” for cataloging, safeguarding, and tracking assets across different markets and legal regions.
Each registered work is assigned a unique 15-character alphanumeric ID, formatted as: AAA.1A.0123456789.
LAGR ID serves as a reliable reference for tracking the object’s lifecycle, covering ownership, provenance, and verifiable documentation over time.
Using the structure AAA 1 A 0123456789:
AAA block: max 258 possibilities (given)
1 digit (1–9): 9 possibilities
1 letter (A–Z): 26 possibilities
10-digit block (0000000000–9999999999): 10¹⁰ = 10,000,000,000 possibilities (leading zeros allowed, as in your example)

LAGR aims to adopt an international standard.

The LutinX Artwork Global Repository (LAGR) envisions a governance framework that develops protocols for unique identifiers, stored on blockchain, designed to be interoperable and openly accessible as a “parent” ID.
In line with this, LAGR is intended to serve as a lightweight, resilient marker: an identifier anchored in an immutable ledger, linked to structured metadata and evidence that can be public or restricted.
